Before We Start, Consider What You Have Done.

  • Login to your dashboard.
  • Create your own blog and create a temporary URL.
  • Save it.

This temporary URL will replace your registered custom domain name with URLStart. Follow the given steps to integrate your custom domain with

Step 1: Finding CNAME Records

To find the required CNAME records, you will be required to navigate to your blog’s Settings-> Publishing -> Custom Domain section.

  • Click on “Custom Domain
  • Enter your custom domain name.
  • Click on the “Save” button.

Step 2: Adding Default Nameserver

Now we have to add the default nameserver to your domain from the URLStart client area; it is not complicated. Just follow the given steps.

  • Navigate to the domain settings from your “My Domains” section.
  • Click on “Nameservers.”

Add these two nameservers there: & and save, as shown in the below image.

All set now. The final step is adding CNAME records in “DNS Management” and to work as your website URL. Follow step 3 as shown below.

Step 3: Adding DNS Records with DNS Management

  1. Navigate to your My Domains section.
  2. Select your Domain Name.
  3. Click on the DNS Management option.

After navigating to DNS management, you may see a warning, as shown in the screenshot below.

Click on the “Yes, Create” button.

After clicking, a new screen with the required DNS information will appear. We have to add our DNS in that row that we got in STEP 1.

3.1 Copy your CNAME records from and paste them into the columns (as shown in the below image).

Add these records to the “Add a new DNS record” section at the end of the page. πŸ₯³

3.2 Now, add these 4 A-records that point to Google IPs. If any A-records for “” already exist, then just remove the existing A-records and add the A-records given below:


After adding all the records, click on the “Save Chances” button.

To confirm that, after adding both CNAMEs, they must be visible in the row as in the given screenshot.

Step 4: Sit Back & Relax

Don’t forget to go to your Blogger dashboard and click on the “Save” button to add your custom domain name to Blogger. If it shows an error, wait 5 to 10 minutes and click on save again. It will be saved, and your temporary URL will be replaced with the custom domain you purchased from URLStart.
